Park Royal Centre for Mental Health, London
Landscape Perspective were instructed by Broadway Malyan to assist them in producing landscape proposals for a secure courtyard at the above mental health unit in North London. LP produced the hard landscape detailing package, and the project was completed in 2017.
The brief was to design a courtyard which would provide much needed relaxation space for patients, and the opportunity for informal recreation, in a secure but high risk environment. Elements currently not installed due to budget constraints include a glass block wall to enclose a seating area.
